Six-Word Memoirs

Boing Boing posted an entry today about a new book, Not Quite What I Was Planning: Six-Word Memoirs, and challenged its readers to post their own. 

Mine was: Two careers so far, still time.

Ha! So I read your post, and I thought to myself, "That's funny, my friend Scott just had a whole thing in his weekly Patriots email, in which he had people send in 6-word summaries of the Pats' season. I guess he must've seen/read that book too." And then I clicked on the link and saw that one of the 6-word memoirs the post highlighted was by someone named... Scott O'Neil. Needless to say when I went back and looked at Scott's original email (I don't usually read his Pats email too closely), low and behold he started out by saying how he was going to be featured in this book, which inspired his Pats-themed version.

How weird is that?
